Zanab Malik

Zanab completed her undergraduate dentistry training with the University of Adelaide. Post graduation, she worked extensively in the Special Needs Dentistry departments at both tertiary referral dental hospitals in NSW (Westmead Centre for Oral Health and Sydney Dental Hospital).

Finding her passion, Zanab went on to specialise in Special Needs Dentistry with The University of Sydney. Zanab now works in private practice on the Central Coast, NSW out of Renwick Dental Wyoming rooms fortnightly on a Saturday and provides dental treatment under general anaesthesia during the week out of Tuggerah Lakes Private Hospital whenever required. Zanab feels very grateful to be part of the Renwick Dental team, as she enjoys providing her patients with both accessible and modern facilities (with a beautiful calming view!) and a friendly team who value providing the best quality dental services for people living with special needs.

Zanab has had additional training in specialist paediatric dentistry departments and currently uses this skillset to help children with special needs transition to adult services and helping those requiring dental management under general anaesthesia. She loves helping people and making dental visits a positive experience for all of her patients.

Outside of work, Zanab is currently busy pursuing PhD studies to improve dental access for vulnerable members of society, enjoys spending time with family and friends, dabbling in arts and crafts and going on long walks.
