Our History
Renwick Dental, formerly known as Wyoming Dental Surgery and Ourimbah Dental Surgery, was founded in 1976 by Dr. Andrew Moran. Dr. Moran’s vision was to deliver exceptional dental services to the local community. Initially operating out of a modest house on Renwick Street, where our current car park stands, our practice has evolved significantly. In 2003, Dr. Moran’s dream of a purpose-built dental facility became a reality, maintaining our reputation as a hub of excellence, providing quality dental treatments and transparent service.
In 1993, Dr Scott Cooper joined partnership with Dr Moran and in 2004 Dr Jeanne Chong, the first female dentist to the team joined Dr cooper as a partner. Their collaborative efforts over many years built the strong team we have today. In 2020, Dr. Chong entrusted her share to Dr. Alastair Brown, a seasoned dentist within our practice. Together, Dr. Brown and Dr. Cooper lead our dental team with a shared vision: to pursue excellence through precise diagnosis, collaborative partnerships with colleagues, and ongoing education and accreditation.
