Alastair graduated from Newcastle University in the UK in 2008. After gaining valuable experience working in the NHS across England, he moved to Australia in late 2010 to join Scott Cooper at Wyoming Dental Surgery. Under Scott’s mentorship, he refined his skills and expanded his knowledge through numerous professional education courses, gradually focusing on more advanced aspects of dentistry such as crowns, bridges, veneers, clear aligners, wisdom teeth extractions, and dental implants.

In 2020, Alastair became partner alongside Dr. Cooper and is currently the principal dentist at Renwick Dental. Recently, his education has been centred around full mouth rehabilitation, allowing him to provide comprehensive solutions tailored to each patient’s needs.

Outside of dentistry, Alastair is married to a wonderful local coastie and enjoys spending quality time with his three daughters. When he gets a rare moment to himself, he loves to go for a run (up to 100km) and mountain biking—but we suspect he’s sometimes running away from his family!
