Terms & Conditions
By booking an appointment with Renwick Dental, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Payment
- Full payment is required on the day of treatment unless prior arrangements have been made, doing so will incur a pre applied 10% discount.
- A 1.65% surcharge applies to all credit card transactions, including contactless (tap) payments, whether using a debit or credit card.
- To avoid this surcharge, patients may insert a debit card directly into the payment terminal instead of tapping.
- Outstanding accounts must be settled promptly. Unpaid accounts may lose 10% discount pre applied and may be referred to collection company.
Financing
- Financing options are available through selected third-party providers.
- If finance is arranged through a third-party provider (e.g., Humm or Zip Pay), the account will not be considered paid on the day, as payments are spread over 6–12 months. Renwick Dental will cover interest free finance options up to 12 months.
- Patients are responsible for reviewing and understanding the terms of their financing agreement with the provider.
Booking and Cancellation Policy
- We value your time and ours. Missed appointments, late arrivals, and last-minute cancellations disrupt our schedule and impact other patients.
- All Saturday appointments require a $50 booking deposit. Please note that deposits are non-refundable in the event of a missed appointment or if less than 24 hours’ notice of cancellation is provided.
- Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or appointment changes.
- Appointments cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled time, or failure to attend, will incur a $50 cancellation fee.
- Repeated late cancellations or non-attendance may require pre-payment for future bookings.
Health Fund Claims
- For patients with private health insurance, claims must be processed via HICAPS on the day of treatment. If this is not possible, full payment will be required, and a copy of the invoice will be provided for the patient to submit to their health fund for reimbursement.
- The rebate amount is determined by your health fund and your level of cover; Renwick Dental has no control over these amounts.
- Any outstanding balance not covered by your health fund is payable by the patient on the day of treatment.
Children’s Dentistry and CDBS
- Renwick Dental welcomes children of all ages and is committed to supporting lifelong oral health from an early age.
- We participate in the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) and bulk bill eligible patients for covered services.
- Eligibility is determined by Medicare, and it is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to confirm their child’s status.
- Any services not covered under the CDBS, or beyond the allocated limit, will be payable by the parent or guardian on the day of treatment.
Treatment Consent
- All patients will be provided with information regarding their recommended treatment, including associated risks, benefits, and costs, prior to proceeding.
- By agreeing to treatment, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to ask questions and have understood the information provided.
Pricing
- Renwick Dental strives to ensure all prices are accurate and up to date.
- Treatment fees are subject to change without prior notice.
- Written treatment plans and estimated are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
- Estimated treatment costs may vary during care, depending on circumstances such as a tooth developing a poor prognosis. If this occurs, your dentist will discuss the changes with you and verbally confirm the revised course of treatment.
Emergencies
- We do our best to accommodate patients requiring urgent dental care.
- While every effort is made to provide timely emergency appointments, availability cannot be guaranteed.
Privacy and Confidentiality
- Renwick Dental is committed to protecting your privacy.
- Patient records, treatment information, and personal details are kept strictly confidential in accordance with Australian Privacy Laws.
- Information will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.
- Privacy policy is available on website.
Liability
- While all care is taken to provide safe and effective treatment, Renwick Dental is not liable for outcomes that may arise due to factors outside of our control, including patient compliance with aftercare instructions.
- Patients are responsible for providing accurate and complete medical histories, including current medications and health conditions, to ensure safe treatment.
