Due to the emerging COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation, the Renwick Dental team is currently only available for emergency dental services for healthy patients requiring care.
If you’re experiencing a dental emergency, please complete our website contact form or SMS 0492 510 304 with your name, phone number and a short description of your emergency, and we will respond within 12 hours.
Dental Services
We are currently operating in accordance with the Australian Dental Association’s health and safety guidelines regarding COVID-19.
This means we are deferring any non-essential appointments and are available for emergency dental services for healthy patients.
Dental Emergencies – Health and Safety Precautions
As an accredited dental practice, we already hold a high standard for infection control.
In light of the COVID-19 situation, we are taking extra precautions to ensure the health and safety of all patients receiving essential dental services in our care.
Because of this, we wish to advise if you are self-isolating, or have a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19, Renwick Dental does not have the resources to be able to treat your dental emergency.
The appropriate rooms and equipment needed are only available in hospitals.
If this is the case for you, please call the National Coronavirus Hotline on 1800 020 080.
Dental Emergency Information for Healthy Patients
If you are healthy, we can assist with any dental emergencies you may have.
Our surgeries already operate with a high degree of infection control, and our practices and protocols are under constant review in light of evolving COVID-19 information.
Hand-washing is a key to reducing the spread of infectious disease.
When you arrive and before you leave, please use the provided hand sanitiser.
If you need to sneeze, catch it in a tissue.
If you need to cough, cough into your elbow.
… And wash your hands again.
Regular Appointments
We have currently rescheduled all of our regular and routine appointments to June 2020, and will update these if required in regard to relevant restrictions at the time.
Apologies to anyone who may have received an automated notification for a dental check up prior to this time. We have been experiencing some technical difficulties and hope these are now resolved.
If you do receive a notification for a routine appointment prior to June 2020, please ignore or let us know so we can further resolve any issues.
Thank You
A sincere thank you to all of our valued patients and staff for your support during this difficult time. We have built a strong and loyal community here at Renwick Dental and we look forward to when we can fully open our doors to this community once again.
Once restrictions have been lifted, we will be calling on your support more than ever before, as we draw on our dedicated team to provide you with the best possible dental care and patient experience we have always prided ourselves on.
We will be sure to update and inform you as new information becomes available and the situation progresses.
We’re all in this together,
Drs Scott Cooper and Jeanne Chong.
