The government has recently lowered restrictions and dental treatment is now at Level 1. All regular dental treatment can be performed for those who are well. See ADA’s framework for dental restrictions during COVID-19. If you missed or delayed your dental appointment in April or May, you can now book in!
Here is an outline of some of the changes you can expect when booking an appointment or when visiting us!
APPOINTMENT AVAILABILITY
We are offering appointments at 2 locations: Wyoming and Ourimbah. After hours appointments are now available in Wyoming. We are still closed on the weekend.
There may be a 1-3 week wait for appointments with your preferred dentist. Check the working days for your preferred practitioner here.
HOW CAN I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?
Call us on 4328 4581 during business hours. Please specify the location and dentist if you have a preference.
Please check our website and Google Business for updates in our operating hours.
SCREENING
When booking you will be asked, have you:
- returned from overseas or interstate travel in the past 14 days
- felt unwell, including but not limited to symptoms of COVID-19 such as fever, cough, sore throat or shortness of breath
- had any contact with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 in the past 14 days
If yes, we will need to reschedule your appointment for 14 days after returning from overseas or where sick, when symptoms have resolved.
If you are over the age of 70 years old, have chronic disease in particular, cardiovascular or respiratory disease; are immunocompromised e.g. currently under cancer treatment or are insulin dependent, consider deferring non-urgent dental treatments. If you are seeking treatment, please let our reception know of any concerns so we can consider how to best approach your treatment and appointment timing.
SOCIAL DISTANCING
Please try and attend on your own, or bring 1 other person. If attending as a family unit, please be mindful of social distancing for your dependents from other patients. Please observe government regulations for social distancing especially in our reception area.
CHECK IN

Please stay in your car or outside until our reception calls you in. Where possible, we will try to guide you straight into a dental treatment room.
If you have arrived by taxi, are disabled or a family unit, please let our reception know while you are outside. We will let you know if the waiting room is available.
DURING YOUR APPOINTMENT
Please use the hand sanitiser or wash your hands upon entering the practice.
Based on ADA recommendation, we will ask you to do a 20-30sec pre-procedural mouthrinse of 1% hydrogen peroxide to reduce bacterial load before the commencement of treatment.
At the end of the appointment, please wait for the dentist to check if there is an available spot for service at the Reception desk.
